Up to this season all my holes were made by hand auger but not anymore
I got the 8'' IceGator last week which i will use with Fin Bore III

StrikeMaster Lazer 6".  No need for a power auger here, as the ice never gets that thick.

The 6 inch finbore III does a pretty good job but once you get past 12 inches of ice a power auger would be nice.  good fishin

Bought the turbo blade auger and put it on my EarthQuake post hole digger for an extra 75.00. Cheap way to go if you already have the power head.Now versitile

6 inch and 8 inch Nils on my Eskimo and also have a 224 10" bit for the hard side.

its always jiffy,,model 30/3 hp with a 10 inch for the big bad boys and a white lightning 2 hp with a 6 inch for the little stuff

I use a Nils Master hand auger until the ice gets over 2' then I switch to a Strikemaster Lazer 224.  After the 10" icegator comes out I will switch to that.
