Well, it is about that time so I pulled the trigger on my first ice gear order for the upcoming season...had to beat you guys to the rush as I hate backorders....the tag was a bit high at $400 but the majority of that was a pair of boots

1) Cabela's Trans Alaskan 3 boots (thought about Clams new boot but was worried as it was not tested by those I trust...meaning fellow IS members

2) Frabil Bro Series Rod Quick Tip

3) Ice Line, Ice line and more ice line...some Gamma, some P-line

4) Gulp Maggots and Waxies

5) CJ&S Slender Spoons ( a new fav from last season...shhh!)

6) CJ&S Gill Pills ( A BUCK A PIECE!)

7) CJ&S Diamond Jigs

i got to pick up a pair a new pair of boots and a pair of those ice armor mittens...i tore my old ones open last year...ohwell best damn pair of gloves i have ever bought...thats why im buying a second pair...im going to try and get a vexilar this year...have to see wat happens...

This year all i need is a few new tipups and some line

Need an ice armor suit or similar
ball bearing swivels, thought I had some but cant find them
 
If Im really ambitious a gas auger, didnt really need one ever till last year.

Reels are all re-lined, shack is cleaned out, and everything is packed in the shelter or truck tool box.

All I had on the list was a new ICE55 or a Marcum LX5 but the prices jumped up to $600 and $700 respectively in the last couple weeks due to our dollar plummetting... I guess I'll stick with my crappy flasher...  I did drop a bit of $$$ on Buckshots and other spoons yesterday... next up more ice line and one or two or three more combos    Need a combo for lakers and pike this year..

Picked up a 06 honda foreman rubicon and just got a pair of Danner longhon 1000gr boots. May find my way to a few new lures but other than that I am pretty much done for the year.

I was going to buy the Marcum 825, but not so sure now. I would like to know why the price has gone up $150!
