Am I the only one who can't wait for hard water? I've already been getting my stuff ready. I'm so pathetic.

Been itchin' since ALL summer. Can fish anywhere you want in the winter.....thats what I like!!!

Iv'e been ready since march 15 the last day to have the shanties off in ny. I hope it comes quick got every thing in one spot just waiting for the hard stuff.

We usually get fishable ice the first weekend of December or so in NE Nebraska then lose it, then get it back. It's been so up and down the last ten years I don't count on anything.

But ya, I'm about ready already

If I'm real lucky it will be enough ice to stop duck hunting with a boat and not be enough to ice fish, that was the fun two years ago.

I think in 30-40 minutes I could be packed dressed and ready. Must be the boyscout in me.

So far this summer ive fired up the auger charged my vex battery. Picked up a new honda rubicon,picked up a lowrance xog with the navionics chip and next on the list is the ice castle in october hopefully! yuuup im ready! and yes gettin antsy just a tad
