Have thought about ice fishing at least once in the past week

I was able to land my hands on some pretty sweet new reels for this season. Anyways, just checking in. If your alive out there let us know!!!

hey Andrew,

I'm still alive...lol....i'm busy posting in my summer hang out OFN. I have been thinking about ice fishing a lot recently, mainly because my fishfinder works so much better on the ice than on my boat...lol...so each time the fricken cavitation starts and the unit freezes up/displays wrong depth, does not mark fish that are obviously there, i think of blissfull days on the ice watching perfect fish signals at over 60' .

Guilty as charged. But we've got a baby on the way so I'm likely not going to get out as much unfortunately. Hopefully get out to Quinte for some big 'eyes and a few choice bass lakes...

shouldn't you be concentrating efforts on fixing your bro's bass boat Andrew?

Yeah Tippy....have been thinkin about ICE quite a bit actually with all this muggy weather and all. However when I was waaaay north up until the 4th of July....there were some downright frigid mornings while you lads were baking in the rest of Ontario.

120 days

still have some great soft water fishing..but nothing wrong thinking ice fishing.

i look at the jiffy and my eye just go..

..

just hope the ice will be hurly and not to mutch snoe like last winter....

She's not new but can really chew. At 10'', I am going to have to be extra cautious around holes

HELL YA , CANT WAIT, having a great fall season so far, great bow ,chohos right now but still dreaming about the hard stuff the crap dreams are made off .I going to clean the gear up right now that should get the wife worked up ,HEHEHEHE

I was trying to find some info on the new hummingbird flasher and came across this site. Good to see some familiar faces. Tip up, Joco. Had only two days off the whole summer long so seeing the first frost this year has me pumped for the hard water season.

ice fishing? uhm yeah!! buddy i dream of the hard stuff.

only couple more months, time to lube the reels, get new tip-ups.

oh yeah most importantly, scoping out new ice fishing spots.

my first ice fishing day will be the 6th of December!

I'm already starting to twitch a little at the thought of early season crappies, but in 8 weeks time it'll be a full blown seizure waiting to get on the ice... can't wait.

I have been talking ice for the past few weeks, my buddies all think m nuts, but tis the season. Cant wait to get out, I will be booking a trip anyday now for jan-feb...lets drink to a long cold winter (snow free if possible..

ice fishing is always on my mind but it really came to the forefront this past week when it started snowing lol it only stayed on the ground a day but man, was i ever pumped lol

Lookin to get to Scuggog, Long Pt Bay on Erie, Simcoe, Lake St Clair.
