I been in for a long while, this is my 8th year and never got one yet. They don't give out to many non res.tags but still fun trying, got 7 bonus points if that means anything.
I use to apply for a permit, but now at $52 a chance and around $1800. hunting, shooting, hauling, cutting up, new freezer and gas, I think I'll wait until I hit one with my truck.
It is a ton of money when you weigh it all out but it is also one of those things you have to do once in your life if possible. Went in 05 and it was a blast and ironically, really don't feel the need to go again.... What was it you were saying about that "bucket list" Pegasus?
Tugging on a dead moose might make it so I'll never finish the list.
I'll use the company truck when I go up to North Anson to see Will.
anyone know the process for superpack holders? i assumed i'd get a packet of info when i superpacked, but so far, nada
My father has been drawn twice in the last ten years and another hunting buddy of ours has been putting in since the lottery started and never been drawn. Over 20 years. You never know.
my father put in for one from the time it started he passed away in the spring of 2000 at the age of 79 never did get a chance to go i think the state should set 50 permits aside for the hunters over 60 years old its a money game good luck to all
thanks dennisi figured it would be like that, but i also figured i'd get a little more info from the state.....
Why?? so your chances will go up Old Timer? Where have you been?
I figure it would cost ohhhh 10-15 bucks to get one....( gallon or 2 of gas by then) the beer afterwards the costly part drive out back shoot one be done with it no looking for the "Big one" no matter how ya cook it the rack never becomes tender
