A few green carp here.... Three, come to think about it a week ago on worms and small shinners.

we were going after salmon on saturday and all we caught were smalles.  not what we had planned on doing but fun nevertheless

How can you HATE any fish?  a fish is a fish... does it really matter wats on the hook?  i bet on slow days your wishing for anything to bite, just give me a flag..

AWSOME!!! Makes me look forward to this spring open water! To tell you the truth...I've caught pretty much every species of fish in Maine, and nothing beats targeting bass.  It's nice to catch a brookie every once in a while, but I get bored with the wimpy fight.  On a fly rod or ultra lite it's a fight, but put them up to 20lb test with a medium heavy rods and it's like reeling in grass.  I'm just venting bc I'm sick of people bashing bass fishing.
