I'm sure Rick and Ray's has a rebuild kit for them...Or you could have them do it...
 I don't think it would cost that much for them to do it...
Did it freeze up on ya ??

No it keeps stalling at idle, and it floods out easy, where is R&R's anyway?

Screw your idle screw all the way in and them turn it back out 1 and 1/2 turns and try that. That should do the trick. ;)

That vintage ac had mikuni carbs (i think) and i usually just clean them by pulling the bowl off and cleaning inside the two jets and needle and seat assym with carb cleaner and compressed air. Make sure the floats float and that you can see light through the jets inside the carb. Also make sure the butterfly valve that controls the needle is even according to the carb plane. If it is a diaphragm carb, kits are widely available and i would suggest a professional rebuilding the carb.

Sounds like you need a needle and seat kit. Take it to a snowmobile dealer and have them pressure test the float valve.

sounds easy if you know how to do it and what all those pasrts are, I think that is why he started this post.. ::)

actually Id try ebay  they have a few carbs for 9 bucks   but  if I was to overhaul em  Id take them to the cat dealer  let them do it
