Any luck at Pleasant Pond lately? ( Caratunk )

Anybody fished Pleasant Pond lately. Might be headed there this w/e if the weather isn't too bad.

Haven't heard any reports lately. I would give it a try anyways, the place is loaded with Togue and I'm sure you would have a good time

Flag, It was sllllow last w/e, but my buds didn't travel far down lake, we had good luck furthur down the lake this year. Al

The day we fished it we were further down the lake than anyone and we seemed to have done better. I wish I had more time to fish it this year Always next year!!

Was there last sat, slllow!  We got a few hit and runs and 1 togue that went all of 9 inches. Went to the same spot earlier in the year and did great, I think the lake has just had too much fishing pressure this one year alone.

I really don't think it's fished out from just this 1 year. Not saying there hasn't been a dent put in it but if there wasn't an over abundance of togue the State would not have opened it up to ice fishing this year.... To many variation to simply say it's fished out... Wait until next year and see if it's hot and heavy the first month>.

I don't mean fished out, I just mean that the fishing pressure on this lake has made the fish a lot more wary and less willing to bite. They have seen a lot of baits this year. That's what I meant.

How is the open water fishing on pleasant pond?  My step son's father built a camp on that pond wondered if any one had any information.
