Where to go for game fish near Augusta
«

I only have one free weekend left before the seasons end. I recently moved to the Augusta area and am looking for some tips on a lake or pond near Augusta that I could have a fair chance at catching some game fish (trout, salmon)? Any ideas?
Thanks

Maranacock for togue-lake trout/brookies/browns and cobbsee (browns mostly) androscoggin (browns/bass) are good bets.

Thanks for the info. I think I will give Damriscota a shot. Does everyone put on the lake at the start park in Jefferson?
