How's A-1 ice ?

 Wanted to head to A-1 next weekend. Anyone know how the ice is ?

I was out today , they ice in that area is about done.Open water trout fishing is great this time of year on the cape . blown worms on the bottom .minnows on a slip bobber will take browns and salmon . stay away from the stocking area real fish cant stand them . power bait if you want to catch them . a good heavy spoon for the salmon just dont fish them two fast.

I agree that the ice could be in trouble but he asked if anyone actually knew about the ice at A-1. Not the trout fishing down the Cape.

I posted up a report yesterday in "Want to fish tommorrow" Thread.  Yesterday, A1 was in real tough shape... I would not trust it... espeacially by the spillway.  I will be driving there for lunch to check it out...

  I hate to hear about the ice not being good. I wanted to go at least one more time this season. Can't help mother nature. Is this early for it to be unsafe?
