This is the only fish we caught all day fishing on the Missouri River. It was 31 inches long and unfortunately it easily maxed out my 8 pound scale. We estimated it at anywhere between 13 to 15 pounds. Due to the fact it was carrying eggs and had a huge girth, it may have weighed more…. I’ll never know.  ???
We released it unharmed.
If I had some money I would have got it mounted.  :(

I think it’s time to buy a better scale. :-\

what was the girth measurement on that one...my buddys that went 15.2 had a 21 inch girth......very nice eye

I never got a girth measurement on it. I wish I would've. It definately was AMAZINGLY fat though.
