this weekend

Not looking for a guided trip,but information on somewhere to fish this weekend would be greatly appreciated.I have been curious about Round lake in Noble county(I think)the slough sounds interesting but it sounds like the ice is no good so anywhere with good gills would be great.I think I am fishing alone and usually release everything I catch so help a guy out.Coming from around richmond and expect 3-4 hour drive let me know whats out there.Thanks for any help and Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Man, I wish I could help you out. We ain't been settin the world on fire the last few times out. Plenty of fish down there lookin , but few bitin. There's 101 lakes in Steuben, but not sure which one would be a sure bet. Good luck where ever you go!!

Sorry didn't get back to you last night! I only get on here when I'm at work. We strill have upto 10-12" of ice. A good bet might Docksiders at Lk. James. Usually a lot people fishin there, I haven't heard any reports lately how there doing. Another good place is Clear Lk. mostly sight fishin, but you can see down to 15' usually. There are some real HOGS in there if you can get um to bite. My buddy's been gettin um on north end in front of the condos. GOOD LUCK,hope you get into um.
