If you asked a shanty member where he was getting on the ice I'm sure you would get a straight answer. not a bunch of funny words. There are sportsmen and then there are sportsmen.

we were out to day and fished with john(pajns) and jerry(parksguy). managed some fish. to be more specific the fish were 5 bass 1 slab crappie and about 10 small blue gill. ice was about 3 inches thick. (wich ate a 2" shiner)

Sounds like you guys had a good game on the ice. Hopefully, more ice will be made this week. Next Sunday will be my first trip out.

Had the pleasure of Fishing with Gambler..Lil Maggot and Parks Guy. Also got to meet Shanty Member Jarhead. Lotta flags....I think I caught every stocked Bass in Muddy Creek today. They were ALL 14 3/4....LOL If it wasn't for Gambler and Lil Maggot I would have come home empty handed. Ice was 3 in spots and 4 in others. GREAT day to be out with GREAT Company.......

Was good talking to Pajns and Parksguy today. And nice to meet Jarhead also.
It was fun chasin flags today. Gave lil maggot a workout.
We had chili for dinner this evening but lil maggot had other plans for his dinner. (He needs to learn, you catch it you fillet it.)

nice slab there maggot i can give maggot a mr twister kwik course dont cut your fingers no lol i also had chili and put the fillets in the freezer for a summertime fish fry could use that turkey fryer

The fishing has been steady the wind has been rough. Whatch your step in the deeper water theres still plenty of areas with some skinny spots at least as of yesterday.

Its the second road. Not the road after the bridge but maybe 1 mile past that road.
