I was on snow pond today and the going was great with the 4 wheeler. it was hard every place.

my son and I are planing to go to great pond in the morning. with the weather tomorow should be some good fishing.

I thought no OJ cause of the kidney stones?........On the other hand.... I really want a huge pike!....What to do? Just dont want to be cold and grumpy.... dont want to wreck it for anyone! Dont know what to do......?

Well, we got there about 6, I got the truck stuck in a rut down at the scout camp, but got that out, BIG-JAKE met up with us and we headed out through the snow, we headed to our spot on the Northern shore to get out of the breeze! However, sorry to report only one pike was iced and it was a hammer handle.

Duck hunter lost 2 one felt like a cocka, I had one take about 20 feet of line and was spooling good, took a dead cut up sea smelt, I set the hook, FELT HEAVY came fighting about 4-6 feet then stopped, DUNK! hung up on something! And I had to cut off the line.. we were fishing in the shallows lots of ice not much water. 4-6 feet max.. Snow wasn't bad at all maybe 2 inches max, we set up a camp on the northern shore under a big pine, got a warming fire going and it was a fun day just the same. Action wasn't too furious but the commroderie was great! Food was good. about midday bunch of DUCK HUnters buddies showed up and fished a bit and hung out, they caught a Mudpuppy! $:-\$ Guess ya gotta have one every year!

till next year! Hopefully duck hunter has some pics to post.. also Big jake had a camera going.. Some funny stuff big jake took
