Send a PM to Taxidermist1 on this site.  He raises fish in his own ponds and does taxidermy also.  He has a post futher down on the indiana forum about ice in March......  Good luck with your mount or replica.

Did you mean 46" instead of 36"??? 18lbs seems pretty fat for a 36" pike.  Congrats on the mount!!

i second tom burns in ft.wayne. had a 10 3/4 inch redear done last year that turned out great. he has taken top awards for taxidermy in ind. many times.

i have seen work from both burns and taxi1 and they both do good work, but any freshwater fish i mount will go to Taxi1. Excellent work.Best finish work on his mounts of anything i have ever seen.

I caught a L.M. Bass several years ago just over 8lbs and had Tom do the mount. He did an awesome job!!! Worth every penny. Still looks like it was just caught :thumbsup:
