What is the most productive colors to buy glow jiggs in?  I only have jiggs that glow chartruese, and never tried any other colors.  What have you guys found that works well? I fish both murkey waters, and cristal clear lakes.

Buy some glow stick on material in differant colors and try them on the lakes you fish. the stuff comes in sheets. If one color works better then others you can just stick that color on your jig and not have to buy a bunch of differant colored jigs.

If you can only have two colors, go with red & green.

I use Red on gills.
Blue for Crappie.
Just because they say glow on the package doesn't mean they glow the way I want them too. You don't want jigs you have to charge up all the time.(Even though I do) They  make some better than others.

I just bought a buncha tear drop glow jiggs and noticed some glow brighter then others, even if they're the same color.  I'm thinking of buying some glow paint to modify my lures. Anyone fish with glow lures on the open water?

I have found red to be the most productive on the lakes that I fish in Indiana.  Blue would be my #2 color.

Well....

For Campbell Lake in Kent County, For Gills the HOT Color is Fireball Red, but the tear drop must be Small...I mean Really Small...NO............ .Your not listening..Micron Small...Yeah, now your getting the idea. So small, it's hard to thread the 2 lb line in the eyelet...Only, if you want to catch some of the big uns in there.

The Gills also like the gold Colored Teardrops, also small.

Never tried for specks there, but I've found the Perch like the Green Glow..Only caught 1, so I can't swear by it.

Hope this helps.
