Since I only re-heat food over a propane heater, I make Bacon/Egg McMuffin type things at home the night before and heat em up on the ice the next day... english muffin, one egg nuked in microwave, 2 slices of cooked bacon, and some processed cheese... wrap it aluminum foil and 10 minutes over low heat... it'll harden your arteries but dang if it don't warm the cockles of your heart out there...

tight lines

Cup o Noodles, they taste pretty good on the ice, warm you up too.  Jerky, sunflowerseeds, granola bars, dried fruit, pepper jack cheese, any thing that I think I can get away with from the home.   :icefish:

It varies depending on the trip....how many are going, etc. If just myself and a friend or my wife and I, I usually just take some sandwiches and what I can cook in a small pot on my little single burner that screws on top of a 1lb. tank. Hot Dogs, homemade sausage or brats, homemade venison jerky or bologna to snack on, ramen noodles, instant coffee and hot chocolate, bottled water, soda, etc. etc. If I'm going with a group then I usually take the two burner Coleman and eggs, sausage, venison backstraps, chili or stew, homemade potato soup or beans and ham, the list goes on and on.... ;D...WK

And ofcourse you cant forget the BEER!! sometimes we set up a little party bring out a fryer and cook what we catch! Good time either way. :woot: :icefish:

i like to stop at the local market grab a couple of nice steaks and maybe even some corn on the cobs and after i put a few flags under my belt and jig a few, i bust out the Coleman stove and go to work.i also bring goods from home to cook up or warm up such as soups, stew, CHILLI is a must, and even bring a bag of peanuts to. for the most part, the steak is my favorite. we can:t forget though that always is there multiple thermoses full of good coffee.
