well guy's i went to a lake today and was not catching anything. Then my buddy said he had some dry grits,I said ok,then he told me i should put some down the hole. After i did that 10 minutes went buy and all the sudden in the camera there were a school of jumbos. so i guess that was the ticket because we limited out in an hour. well hope this helps you guys out there, and has anybody ever did this?

I've seen a guy using egg shells to hold up a school of perch and it worked pretty good.

I've heard of all sorts of chum used on perch and even pike.  I used to use my dead minnows under my perch shanty, and ended up getting into the pike really good! I've heard of catfood or tuna for pike,  saurkraut for crappies (never understood that one), oatmeal for gills and perch.....the list goes on.  If it works for ya, go with it

I do egg shells and chum with minnows.
God created bass for those who can not catch walleye.

Funny, I heard if you use perch.....the deer hold real well.
