fished in the berkshires today. no fish but i did manage to bend the shaft on my  Nils gas auger, using it for an anchor to keep my shelter from blowing away  :'(, good news is the power head is fine, so i need to replace the shaft.

Was in the 'Toga Tourney. Fished Fish Creek from noon Friday to 2pm Sunday. Several flags, couple of bite offs, one small pike iced. Came in 4th in the contest. They pay 1-3 places. Oh well, got dinner for latter this week out of it. And, it was my first pike through the ice. Loved every minute of it. Bailed just before the blizzard.

I fished Oneida all weekend north east ends of the lake is great only problem then was the lake came up 2 feet made the shore line soft and wet. Once you got past getting your boots wet at shore there was any where from 6-12 inches of ice tons of wheelers and sleds out there. If you go fast enough over the water part with the sled you didn't get wet.

Sure did. I fished saturday with my old man. We managed to ice about 30 nice gills and crappie with a few perch before the snow hit. Once the snow started the bite died. It wasnt bad for about three hours. We threw back a ton of dinks.

fished E. Caroga yesterday, set up in the miserable blowing wind and snow, then had a few nice hours, caught 4 pickeral, missed 2, and then picked up in the miserable blowing wind and snow.  all fish successfully released.  Caught 3 walleyes Saturday night on the "Dead Sea" 1 shorty, 2 keepers, although, all 3 were sucessfully released
