I fished Session yesterday.  I kept about 20 panfish; gills and crappies.  Gills were biting good in the shallower water during the day in 10 feet and less.  The deepwater bite for crappies >20 feet wasn't that great but was O.K. just before dark.  Lake was pretty slushy, with a crust on top and a few inches of water and four to five inches of ice underneath that.

Is there someone at the shack entrance? Do you need a park sticker to get in?

I caught my fish off the boat launch access.  There is not someone at the park gate, but a couple of weeks ago on a Friday myself and most other cars parked at the boat landing got tickets.  So I went and bought an annual pass at the office.

I am heading out to Sessions tomorrow morning. Would anyone like to team up?

Although there may not be anyone at the entrance booth you do need a sticker....they will ticket you. Stop at the headquarters to pick one up.

Let me know how you do, I'm going to try and get out there this weekend.
I really want to know how the Walleye are hitting if at all.
