Your line choice

Sorry guys this has probally been over and over but I don't have time to go search. Heading to Quinte on Fri for the weekend. Last year I used 8lb Mono but think some other line may be in order. What are all you Quinte guys using?

I use 8lb as well but in fluoro for all my 'eye fishing.

Hi RR

I got 6lb Floro on my heavy action rod
4lb floro on the ultra lights
4lb floro on the medium light actions..

mostly Berkley Vanish or P-line full floro (none of that coated stuff) , just whatever i can find on the shelves at that time

6lb for eyes 4 for other pannies

Gamma Fluorocarbon ICE and ESP Ice Copolymer is alls I use for my walleye fishing. I have a  few rods spooled the Crystal from fireline and Vanish and have had no problems with the stuff either.

P-line CXX X-TRA STRONG Smoke Blue fihsing line in 6lb is proving to be really great this season too.
