Lake Pocotopaug/Walleye

[Fresh Fish]

Fished Lake Pocotopaug with some friends this evening from 5:00 to 10:00, we set up in 3 to 6 feet of water with some steady action, we caught a total of 8 walleye from 18" to 22.5" the lake has a size limit of 21" we also caught perch to go along with the eyes. could have stayed longer if it wasn't for this thing called work.

yes the limit is 2 at 21 inches we had a major fish kill in our lake in 1999 so the walleye were introduced to kill of some of the perch count you now so they are still in a slot limit of 21 inches

the limit as i just looked is 2 fish @ 20"

I have fished there for years now, good bass, and walleye fishing. To bad it didn't get locked up soild this year or the walleyes would be in real trouble.
