The jig looks to be a swedish pimple by the way the tape is drawn. You can buy pimples with glow tape. My guess would be that he is using a 3/4 or 1oz jig.  I believe that would be the #6 and #7 pimple size.

How long is the tag line between the hook and spoon? I had some Laker Takers so I made up five. I used bucktail red and white on the treble hook.

what lbs tess to you use on your jig rods, i have some trap line, then only 14lbs mono on mine. i have had no prob at moosehead withe the smaller lakers but worried that if i get into a big guy i might lose it. ???
