26 nice Blue Gills

After two days of fishing I finally found a pond where they would bite. It was a strip pond 17' deep with 4" of ice. Saturday the water started coming up thru the hole and making slop out of the snow. I'm afraid the 4" of ice will be ruined quick. 26 Blue Gill in 2 days is nothing to brag about but they were nice big ones.

with the way the weather has been this year around here, just getting to go is something to brag about. let's all hope the weather man is wrong.
