Ianwashere tied into some nice bobos!

Also got into a double header!

Mrs. Dance gets a nice one!

And yours truly trying to catch up!

All in all we caught about 25 bows. It was awesome.

The best news is I finally got some burby's through the ice! Not big but tasty!

beauty fish guys and gall. looks like one of you have the same fishfinder i do. Is it the digital readout kind? Does cold affect it? I've been wanting to try mine out on the ice but have been told the cold will wreck it is that really the case ???

The fishfinder that I have is a 383 hummingbird with GPS. It's in a hummingbird 200DX case. The 200 was portable but the 383 wasn't. I was lucky that the head from the 383 fit into the 200 case (with a few modifications). Like I said it has a GPS view, fish finder screen with actual sonar fish not little fish pictures that swim by, with real time sonar. Its also has a digital flasher screen but I'm still learning about it. Not sure if I can zoom in on the bottom. I fished 3/4 of the day on old batteries from last year. It has 0.433 amp draw, 200kHz and 83kHz dual beam, 320v x 240h LCD, power output is 300watts (RMS), 2400 watts (peak to peak). It was quite warm in the morning but it went down to -14c and the finder worked great. I would imagine though when  in cold weather it might damage the case if not packed correctly or freeze the crystals in the screen.
Anyway I would fish with yours mtwhite, sure can have lots of fun with it. Good fishing and tight lines! ;D   :icefish:
