Got out solo this morning with the Vex and a few jigging rods. Fished 8' to 12' of water with 6" of solid ice. Caught a total of 7 bluegill, plus 3 Largemouth Bass and 3 Yellow Perch. The Bluegills were very nice sized with most going 8 to 9 1/2" and the best one measuring at 10". The bite was tough and I had to scale down to a tiny Marmooska jig tipped with a spike to get them to commit.
Here are a few photos.
And the best one of the morning at 10":
These yellow perch came out of 20' of water:
Not a bad morning on the ice.
