How bout it guys, have you done any good on boysen yet?

I might go tomorrow or Sunday, depends on the wind forecast 8)

Hey just an update from Boysen. Three of us headed out yesterday morning and started fishing about 12:00 and fished until 10 this morning. Over on Muddy we caught around 60 or so perch, 6 rainbows really decent size, one 3lb ling and 21 walleye and sauger. No tip-ups were used, just three guys and three jigging rods. Jigging raps and minnows with an occasional spoon thrown in the mix. Not bad for a cold day on Boysen.

Hey garth good to talk to you again, its been awhile... Yeah i went there before christmas and i did pretty good. On thursday i must have caught around 15 rainbows, friday the weather was terrible didnt fish at all, saturday i caught around 8 rainbows, sunday i caught like 5 rainbow 2 ling and 1 walleye that was around 3.5 pounds. Yeah it sure was fun. I am hoping to get out there for the derby that they are having... I have room in my camper if you want to join us... I think alex and carl are coming out... I know for sure alex will be there but carl runs about a 50 percent chance of making it out ...

Sounds like you did pretty good Ryan. I sold my VX to a buddy I work with. I bought the Lowerance x67c. I'm still getting used to it and kind of like it. I think that I will eventually be going back to a Vexi. When is the Boysen tourney? I sure would like to make it over for that! I have alot of things going right now with the new construction on the house and the wife thinks the house is more important than my favorite hobby, imagine that! PC

I think it is like the weekend of the 25th. If not heck i am still going for a three day weekend... Yeah it takes a little time getting use to the lowerance but i think once you know how to use it, i dont think that you will go back...

Have any of you guys been out to Boysen the past day or so? Plan on hitting it Friday. Heard that there was some action between North and South Muddy? Anyone heard anything different?

I was over by sand mesa on sunday and it was kinda slow, i did catch 5 rainbows and 5 perch but it took all day... I think that storm had something to do with it... I fished in 40 feet of water all day hoping to get in the perch but they didnt bite until sun down... Good luck...
