Are those in one of the bars alomg the west shore??? The wife (icefishinlady) and I Bear hunted with the Monte's (Owners of the party Store on the West Shore, and frequented the two bars on that side of the lake and thought I remembered that mount? I know there are plenty of Jalopies mounted in those bars anyways!!

Those are mounted at the baitshop Maple Ridge. The owner caught them. His wife does the mounting..

man that is a beautiful mount. i know every time we go up to the u. p. snowmobiling we stop at gogebic lodge for lunch or the root cellar and i always talk to the guys out fishing they always have some big girls in the bucket. i keep saying i am going to make a trip up but never seem to bring the gear maybe next time i should leave the wife at home so i have room for the shanty and rods

Not to rain on the parade, that is an awesome mount. The jumbo perch population on that lake has dropped like a rock in the last 10 years since word got out. I would call it near depleted thanks to people with those mounts and the people who didn't have them made. It's a shame when people abuse a great resource, not saying he did but everyone contributes just a little to the overall problem.

Those aren't my fish.. I only have Two mounted.. LOL... Those are from the Maple Ridge Baitshop.. As I stated in another post, the pop has dropped BAD over the last 10 years.. If they would have put a slot limit on them, or maybe do it now, it might help. If memory serves me correctly, It was the Wisconsin guys that kept coming up here and hauling Bucket loads of them back with them, more than it was the locals...
