Fish river tip-ups

Hello another tip-up ? anybody ever hear of  a tip up company called fish river anyone use them? pros cons ?? they are made in Maine. just wondering if they are any good thanks!!. here is what they look like... thanks...Bob..

I think they look like a decent tip up.  The price isn't bad either.  Give them a call, see what the line capacity is on the spool, what their return policy is, etc.  Order one or two, see how they work out for you.  If you don't like them, don't buy more, if you do like them, buy more ;).

Looks like a Jack Trap. I would have to see the trip mechanism before I made any decisions. To me, the trip mechanism makes or brakes a tip up. Some designs dont stand up very well in the wind and my TipUps have to be free from wind trips.
