What do you do if you can't ice fish?

Myself, If its to warm that there is no safe ice and with little free time I don't sit around and cry. :'(  If the roads are dry I'll get on the bike and go for a ride. :)

  If there is no ice, Now is a good time to take the boat out on your favorite lake or lakes and take a look around to see where the fish are. They have been left alone for the better part of a month now and they are hungry. I am going to try and get out this weekend.

Open water fish..  went steelhead fishing today, enjoyable time.  tomarrow I'm going to a local lake and catch some stocked trout.  Not nearly as much fun as steelhead, but only a few miles of driving compared to the 80+ I drove today.

sit around and read the new bass pro books and tell my
fiance what else i need for ice fishing.then she tells me what
i dont need.i always have something to do.

Sometimes i cry and sometimes i sob then i have a few cold ones. And then i dance around my house doing the ice dance hoping the ice gods will hear me and provide me with ice. ;D ;D

Try to keep my wife happy, so I can go out when there is ice. Also, I try to resist the urge to buy more ice gear.

I'll be meeting up with two friends today and we'll ride our bicycles 50 to 60 miles.  I love to ride and fish!  Bicycling is a lot like fishing, there is always something else to buy that could make you ride faster, be more comfortable, look better and most importantly, just feel better!

Hunt deer with a muzzeloader,Go steelhead fishing, Tye flies & jigs (never have too many!!!) and watch football and drink a few cold beer's.

Popped in my In-Fisherman Ice fishing DVD today, if i can't go ice fishing i might as well watch other people do it,and hope for the best. If anyone wants to get their blood pumping, get hold of an Ice fishing video.
