Went out today with my dad and a few friends and we caught over 50! I caught 15 which was the most (ya i'm rubbin' it in). Mostly rainbows (what we are fishing for) but I pulled out a ling (first one for me) and 2 lake trout. There were 2 more ling caught that were bigger than mine. I missed a good one at the top of the hole. Ling aren't native to our lake....someone illegally planted them and now they're thriving. I've never even seen one alive before until today. Anyway...this is the first fish up the hole...and a couple more pics.

Uh...let's see....well i'll just tell you how many everyone caught.

Me = 15

My dad = 13

Randy (thepolejerker) = 10

friend = 10

friend = 5

friend = 3

friend = 3

friend = 0

so 8 of us....but 2 guys were only out there for a couple hours...and we got 59 fish! NEW RECORD FOR OUT LITTLE HONEY HOLE! I love new ice....lol.

Wow , Amazing fish , and more so with that view in the background! That is awesome !! No matter were a picture is taken in this great countries outdoors I am never surprised at what you see . I enjoy the scenery as much as the fish! To bad that some people show a great pic and next week there is a 1000 people fishing there , then the next time they post they blackout the scenery ! We should also have a best Sunrise and Sunset category in the IS Contest!

My guess is he means ling cod aka borbout,lawyer, eelpout etc.. I've been wrong before though :laugh:Although a grayling would look pretty on the ice.
