Bachelor party on ice

Thought I would start my first post on Ice shanty with some pics from the first trip of the year in Montana. Been lurking for a while, had to get on. This place is addictive like crack.


These dudes are the best in the world.  A couple travelled from upstate NY and the western Oregon to fish with me and drink beer on the ice.  I'm getting hitched in a couple weeks. They sent me out in style for sure.


First trip ever on hard water for this guy, he was pumped.


That's me, working up a real quality hangover the night before.

Welcome to IS - you are right, it is addictive. Great bachelor party. Last year a few of us turned 40 around the same time and celebrated our birthdays on an ice fishing trip - nothing better than a few days on the ice with buddies.

Looks like a good time.  I can't say it looks better than the party I had, but I don't think I want to post anywhere what happened at mine! For legal resons!  ;D

Sounds like you have some great friends.  Helluvan idea for a bachelor party.  For me, trout is the fish I'd want stinkin' up my hands at my bachelor party.  :angel Looks like everybody got some action!   :clap: Nice.  Congratulations!  :thumbsup:

no better way to spend a day than that! How much ice you got up there already? Would've never guessed you'de have snowmachines on it when we only have 3 inches at my honey hole in wyoming! Looks like a great trip!

how can all of you miss the blow up "floation device" in the background.  i think that its there just in case the ice wasnt thick enough. we took a keg with us on a trip a few weeks ago.  ice fishin a beer nothin better
