Help with lost auger blade
« on: Dec 21, 2007, 08:30 PM »
I know it's a shot in the dark but I was fishing out at Cranberry lake today and I lost an auger blade. It's a 6" mora and I lost it about 50 yards west of the high traffic area in front of the access. If anyone finds it let me know, I would be gratefull to you for saving me $25 in a new set of blades :o

Not funny I fell on an auger last year and dang near died. Ilost 3 pints of blood in 15 min. waiting for the ems to come to the lake. I am so thankful i had two buddies out with me one gave up his hoodie and the other his belt.It is kinda funny now so lol.

Auger blades when new are so sharp that they cut you so clean that you won't feel it. Even more so when it is colder than heck outside. The wounds are also hard to stop bleeding. Ive been there done that also.

I was thinking (yes brain does work) with all the views and responses to this post, it would be nice if people did a lost and found post. I know many of times my sled lost items never to be found or returned. Maybe a simple "found an item on a named lake" if they can describe it, pick it up next time out. Would be nice to make a new fishin friend seeing as ya both fish that lake.
