in the shack i'm building i was wondering if 2" styrofoam in every bay and ceiling in the shack would be enough to hold heat at 60 degrees or warmer with a mr. heater running
(the shack is 8X10)

As long as you insulate the ceiling, you could probably heat that with a match.
Should be just fine. Just remember the more that door gets opened the harder it will be to keep heated.
