Winnipeg River system

Any one know how thick the Ice is between Opopiskwa and Nutimic lake,on the Winnipeg river system?
or if there is good fishing around there?

Or what to use for Crappy around there?

Wouldn't recommend ice fishing on the Winnipeg River yet....there may be some spots close to shore that are ok, but in general it won't be ready.

If you find any crappies in that part of the Winnipeg River let me know. :)  I don't think there are too many..

there's still open water around pine falls
two days ago was the first time i have seen anyone venture out on the ice...and i have been checking alot
i'm going to try off the boat launch by tembec on saturday...if its not -100  like it is now
