Do you bring with you out onto the ice at one time?  Just curious if people change lures out on the ice or do they bring rods with different types of lures on them?

 As you get older your eyesight sucks. Tying those little jigs takes a long time. So I bring 5 rods with me all with different jigs.Most of those have quick changing clips on them which do help to change jigs quickly but for me to keep retying jigs takes forever.

I bring 7 rods from ultra lite to medium. Each is rigged with different jigs such as forage minnow, flu-flu, chubby darter and the like. Plus 3 tip-ups with quick strike rigs ready to rock. But that's just me. 

Just like tracker said as we all get older tying takes awhile anymore.

I pretie all my jigs to a leader and wrap them around one of those Lindy foam leader thingies.  I then have a small snap swivel on my pole.  My leader is about 2 ft.

Depends on species I am targeting.  If I am making a combo trip, I'll have six flags, 3 walleye rods, and 2 panfish rods.  Too much stuff!

I bring7, one extra in case one breaks. My buddy has a huge basket and brings about 18.
