Greetings from sunny Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.  Wish I was there for first ice but the woman insisted that we come down for a relaxing, rum-infused 8 day vaca... can't complain, got thru the F+W Outdoors Mid Winter Edition and the In-fisherman Ice Edition... pics to follow... or maybe not as most involve topless women on the beach.  Best of luck to all who are on the ice already, I'll be joining the Ottawa guys on Sunday when I get back so long as the ice is OK...
