Anyone on here have insight into timeline of the trails opening up?  Saw a machine digging through about 5" of frost today near here?, north of Markham.

OFSC trail don't usually open till after Xmas and close in like May.  There are always tons of people on them first snow.  Lots of info here. wwwlsnowmbileworld.com or the OFSC site.

The trail goes right by my house in Barry's Bay, and I have seen the huge groomer go by twice. And a few sleds as well.

Don't know where my other reply went which I posted right after my original post. The OFSC site says some trails opening this weekend but most are closed. trail opening depends on Snow fall, temps and volunteers ability to get trails ready. Groomers are always out prior to trails open to get a base packed down.
