LoL I'd say your daughter will be puting a few on the pole when she gets a little older.
So, 8 deer tags and how many antelope tags? I'm living in the wrong state.

So how do you hunt for deer in your area? Are they feeding in open ranges?

That last picture would be good for "you may be a redneck if........."

When my son was three he watched BAMBI, when his mother got shot my son punched me and said " How come you didn't shoot a deer last year daddy" I knew right then the boy was gonna be alright :)

Up to 6 antelope tags in certain areas and 2 elk tags in certain areas.  The areas that allow multiple tags usually are mostly private land.  However, if you study the maps there is a lot of small areas of public land.

hay me too buck and doe had a single shot 12ga i missed

I was hunting with the second gun from the top in the pic below.  No excuses except "buck fever."  The gun it zero'd at 75 yards.  The buck was 35 yards and the doe was waaaay closer but going full speed!

By the way, can you tell I am a Remington pump fan?

top to bottom

870 supermag 3.5" 12ga
870 Wingmaster 12ga slug gun
7600 30-06
7600 Carbine Limited edition .35 rem (only 500 7600's manufactured in the 7600 model)
T/C Renegade .50 cal

Not shown in my colection of Remington pumps

870 Wingmaster 16 ga with a 26" VR barrel is I/C choke.  I just sold one 870 but have my eye on another 12ga Wingmaster Magnum, (2) 760 pumps, and a 7600 pump in .35 Whelen.

I know what you mean Duck Doctor, I have a 870 wingmaster 20 ga that will have to be pried out of my cold dead grip. I do like my 270 Remington 700, deadly at 200 yards. The gun that I have shot most of my deer with is a Marlin 30-30 lever action with a weaver 3 poered scope. I bought that in Auburn in 1971 for $70.00 in a gun shop on Center Ave.

I sold the first Wingmaster I ever owned 3 months ago.  That one could be replaced every day. The 16 ga though is a mid 60's gun in almost mint condition.  That gun will never be sold!

I am faster and more accurate with my pumps than I have ever been with any semi I have ever shot.  Even the benoits left the semis and when to the Remington pumps!

Got my deer for the season yesterday, a little 100lb spike. My brother and I went out today and I saw three small bucks and did not want to shoot them because I was hopping something big was going to come by. Then I heard a gun shot and my brother came on the radio and said he dropped a nine point buck. I met up with him and sure enough I was a huge 170lb, 22in spread, about 4-5 year old buck :o. Man was I ever jealous. ;D

Don't laugh, those jet sleds make hauling a deer real easy. I heard of a lot of people using them for hauling deer, wood from the woodpile.

The new upcoming trick to pull moose out now here in NH is using the BIGGEST Otter sleds and Jet Sleds.  I have seen an 800# bull inside the big Otter Sled and it was then towed behind a 4 wheeler.   No damage to the sled and the moose was out in no time.  I have also seen 4 grown men pull out a 740# bull by hand using the Otter Sled.  I was going to buy one this year for my business but for $400+/- and the cost of insurance for a guide, I opted to pull them the way I have for a few years now.
