Coming up on a new Season of hard water fishing and well I decided that I may as well join my fishing buddy PGKris here on the shanty. I have only really been ice fishing for one year now. Being as I was originally from Vancouver Island and well we dont get much in the way of frozen water, unless its in our drinks. But I am up in PG for yet another glorious winter and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I cant wait to hit the ice.

Welcome newbies. Snowing like crazy now so shouldn't be long. A buddy at work was on at higher altitude last week so should be anyday on small lakes

Hey all out there new to the site but not to ice fishing. Thought i would tell a little about my self,my setup and were i am from. Well to start off i have been ice fishing for 5 years now . I run an outter 2 resort for an ice house and  have a few rods  and about 6 frabill tipups and 1 aqua view under water camera. I live in grand forks nd but i am in IRAQ right now but i will be back in January so will still have plenty of time to ice fish. I mostly fish around grand forks and devils lake. So i would just like to say hi and i will be reading and replying on this awesome site. ;D

Welcome to the site fellow icefisher. You might want to post here  http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?board=17.0 since that would be closer to home for you.
We here in BC are a friendly bunch and welcome all though. Feel free to browse ;D
