Please add the following information in your shout out.
Lake or Area name.
Ice thickness.
Date of your observation.
Conditions of ice and snow.

CURRENT USA CANADA SNOW AND ICE MAP IMAGE

USA CANADA SNOW AND ICE MAP ANIMATION

Java must be enabled for radar loops to display.

In Netscape:
Select: Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced
Check "Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript"

In Internet Explorer
Select: Tools -> Internet Options -> Security tab
Select the Internet zone and set the Security level for the zone to "Medium"

You may need to restart your browser after making these changes.

ALASKA SNOW AND ICE MAP ANIMATION

We have ice here..was going to post it on the ice map but can not get it to work..

had a half inch of ice on my pond 15' in the deepest part will probably be gone with the warm weather this week

i live in southern ontario

It is very good to hear that NY is so far behind on the ice making, I remember last year, you guys had ice atleast a month before ice....bout time the tide has changed.

Not sure I agree with that. I live in upstate NY and according to my diary, my fishing partner and I didnt get on the ice until Jan 22nd, 2007 because of warmer than usual weather and poor ice conditions.

Ice forming quickly on bays and ponds near Lake Ontario
COLD weahter is just about upon us, so hopefully we can salvage the rest of the winter

got lots of ice in maine - only a few spots that are not safe - a few questionable spots near the coast and big bay on Sebago is still open. Other than that there is lots of ice and up north you need extensions on augers
