is there no creel limit there or something?
http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/31421.html Here i s are regs. in New York.
I thought that the daily limit was 5. Maybe DEC can Email you a ticket.
Ever think about the possibility that those fish were caught by multiple people?
You know you post some pics that you thought were nice and everyone complains or has a rude comment. Im glad to see that you all read what i wrote about those pics. As far as letting those fish grow i have been fishing that stream once a year since i was 7. The size of that stream dictates the size that fish become. I have never seen one in there more than 7 inches. Trout unlimited should be the ones fined by the DEC. For those of you that have all the nasty comments bugger off. For the rest of you this is a great site and i look forward to meeting and fishing with some of you this coming season.Packman
folks if he is the only one that fishes that stream and he only fishes it once a year ... don't worry about it as u won't be effected by his fishing./ Unless he is there the other 364 days of the year to keep an eye out, he can't be sure that he is the only one who fishes it, can he? Soem people need to get there heads out of the toilet and actually appreciate some awesome brookies right there without being jealous and snotty....Actually, I have a pretty nice brookie stream a few miles from my house that I don't tell many folks about for fear of it getting fished beyond recovery. I probably appreciate these wild fish more than most because wild brookies are a very rare thing in my part of Pennsylvania with all the mine runoff ruining the streams (all of you Trout Unlimited bashers..relax. I am not a TU member, although they have done some good in my local area with stream cleanup.) That's why I release all of the wild trout that I catch and have a hard time giving out congratulations for a stringer half-full of 4 inch fish.
