BRING ON THE ICE !!

I noticed that other sites keep their posts going throughout the year. So...where are all the Hardcore Fisher people! I thought, why not start off a post and invite all you "hardcore Anglers" to post Ice pics. That way we can put faces to names. Whenever we get out fishing, we might recognize someone from the pics, shoot the breeze, or start off a Fishing Posse !!

Early ice on one of the Southern Reservoirs with Whites

My buddy Rob with his catch. Those Whiteys were tasty!

The Gator in the next two pics are the same. Why She hit on my Tip-up and when she was coming up, she thrashed around and snapped the Leader off and back down the hole. About 5 minutes later, Rob's lines starts to go and he battles the Pike up and lands her. Only to find that his hooks aren't in her, its his line wrapped around hooks at the side of her mouth. Hooks were mine !! This made her a joint Team Alberta Effort 
Fish weighed at even 20 and released. Maybe we'll come across her again this year!!

TGF : You've been holding out on the pics! Nice fish! You're gonna be giving Logan "The Ling King" a run for the Trophy this year. Here's a picture of Logan before the start of the Gull Tourney. This guy has unreal luck.

As soon as he dropped down...Bang into a Ling. He runs to get it weighed and comes back. Drops down again and BANG! Into another Ling!Off he goes again to get it weighed. No sooner after he comes back and catches his breath, BANG into another Ling.
This after all, is his "First" Hardwater Tourney. Well derserved and well done.
You gonna plan a few out here for the Hardwater? We'll have to hook up and get Logan out for a trip. Of course, we'll be going after Ling

Yes definately going your way sometime this winter so would like to hook up. I will keep you posted.

I almost had a heart attack running through that flood ice to the weigh tent though, and yes we should all get together for a Ling hunt this season. Only pics I can find are of Pike, I hardly catch them yet its all I can find right now
