Speaking of traps - I still use a set called Superiors made in Gardiner, Maine. Orange plastic reels, Anybody else use this trap?
Hey Gamefisher, that's what I use. Never heard of anybody else that has a set. (Image removed from quote.)Cool O4T - seeing those great pics of yours from up north makes me drool for ice! They are the smoothest trap - mine too have been beat to death but like the energizer bunny, well you know Paid like $75. for the set from the old Charlies Log Cabin in Oakland..... let me know when you upgrade, I'll take them off your hands so you don't have to pay the disposal fee!
i have an old set of moosehead traps that were my grandfathers, they are great traps, i like how i can set the drag by twisting a wingnut backed by a spring on the spool. the middle stick on mine are black though and they say "moosehead" down the side in black on one of the outer sticks. very nice traps.
