WE rented a cabin out in the beautiful Whiteshell, and were happy that our teenagers were able to join us too.
Didn't take too long to find some nice jumbo Perch Friday morning.
Margo with one of her many pike....
Cool wind Friday, not much for sun, but the flag action was constant with ones like this.......just couldn't find find any of the BIG girls for a picture....hopefully next saturday.
Chad took the lead with the lots of Pike...
family shanty shot.....stylish eh?
We couldn't have asked for a nicer day saturday, NO WIND, and not one cloud......oh and not much for afternoon action but we didn't care,we were content.
Margo enjoyed using the ole man's vex to find Perch too.
and of course, plenty of these around to keep us entertained.
The plan was to head back out on the ice after 11 am checkout for the remainder of the day today, but as we were about to head out the strong winds were now dropping HUGE wet snowflakes, and the radios forecast for freezing rain.. we decided to head home instead of getting soaked out there (we don't all fit in the lil shanty.
had the pleasure of meeting up, and fishing with Flagtailhunter and wife out there too. Sorry Tom that we didn't head back out this afternoon...trust me if it was just me and the lad we would stayed, but the girls weren't crazy about going out. I hope you have some big pike pictures from today, you'd deserve it for sticking it out.
Ah 5 more sleeps till i can go back...this going back to work is going to suck.
