3-14-07 erie report

limited out for 3 of us in one and half hours south of a can today. spoons tipped just like thru the ice. weather does not sound good next couple of days but will be trying to go. will keep you posted.

Is the lake open yet to the point where you dont have to dodge ice bergs.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

it is open but keep your eyes pealed. there is plenty of shore ice and chunks floating!

Captmike - any new fishing reports? Would like to go vertical jig in the boat when possible. Any certain areas of the lake that seem to produce well this time of year? Best baits? Thanks in advance.

the reefs and maumee bay are a sure bet. everything sould  be good after this weekend. right now there is still some chunks of ice floating but the real problem is the muddy water. Will leave post when conditions get good.
