Special Education teacher here. but I work at a rural district where most of us faculty hunt or fish.
im student teaching in a very rural northern PA district where most hunt and/or fish. but even they give me odd looks like im a nutcase when i tell them im gonna spend my weekend sitting on the ice
I'm a pharmacist. I keep my icefishing gear in the truck all season and fish whenever I can. I've been known to head out on the ice in my shoes, work slacks, and leather jacket. Once I get into the shanty with the heater running everything is good. I do get some weird looks heading out on the ice sometimes, though.
I don't know if I would classify a teacher as white collar. In my opinon white collar is a professional who does something with the intention of improving business or membership to make more profit.

In some studies, managers are considered as part of the white-collar worker grouping, in others they are not. The name derives from the traditional white, button down shirts worn by workers of such professions. ...
Do you mind if I send you over some mark-ups to do for me?
SureMy latest project is working with a underwater acoustical survey for some hydrographic mapping.
That sounds interesting. My firm doesn't have "drafters" so we all do most of our own CADD work. The only ones' who don't are the senior guys who still think CADD is done at a "CADD Station". They haven't caught on yet that AutoCAD can be run from desktops and laptops these days.
