Here are some photos from my 2 days of fishing.
Day 1. Feb.25th.
I went for an afternoon of fishing and found some burbot.
The first one was 27 inches and 4.5 lbs.
This paraglider and his buddy waved to us as they flew over.
They were a long way up.
An hour later I landed a second burbot.
This would be the big fish of the day at 28 5/16 inches and 6.6 lbs.
The days catch.
Day 2 was Feb. 27th.
The day started off with a 23 inch 2 lb pike.
The second pike of the day came on my homemade lure, the Water Wizard.
The holes I drilled in the shanty began to flood so my partners and I jacked the shanty higher so it would not freeze in.
There was 3 inches of water all around it like a mote, this pike wiggled down the drift and into the water. It began to do laps around the shanty.
