Hi Gang, Mother Nature back to her wicked ways....just when I thought a dose of hard winter although late, was going to set in, bamm, here comes spring. All bodies of ice took on a ton of water, depending on the watershed, some areas rotted all shore ice away. I fished a 2 acre small pond with a small water shed yesterday, the spillpipe was running hard. The first step onto the ice was high risk, beyond that though was 10" of ice. I only kept like 7 bluegill and the wind was tough to stay warm in. I'd hope to go maybe Tuesday, but ice after that is going to be a crapshoot with incoming fronts. Good luck all, our ice alarm clock is about to go off.
