I think ive got you beat Was fishing two winters ago in early March at the private lake my parent's live on. Fished for eight hours, moved once about 20 feet, and all the fish were caught by myself. The lake used to be great for panfish but in the last 10 years the crappies really got stunted and you were lucky to catch one over 9.5" and that wasnt paper thin. They have been doing some netting the past two summer to get a bunch of them out of the lake and so far it is starting to improve the quality of crappies. It is still rare to find one over 10" but a lot of the 9-9.5" crappies are starting to get some shoulders on them.Ever wonder how many stunted crappies can fit into a five gallon pail? 131 is a pretty good start (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
